Objectives:
1. To understand the relationship of various dermatologic diseases in patients infected with HIV according to their CD-4 counts.
2. To understand and identify the common dermatologic diseases seen in patients with HIV/AIDS
AUDIENCE : WSU/DMC physicians and faculty, residents, fellows, medical students, and other practicing physicians in the area.
AAD CREDIT STATEMENT: The American Academy of Dermatology certifies that this educational activity has been recognized for 2 hours of AAD Category I credit and may be used toward the American Academy of Dermatology's Continuing Medical Education Award.
AMA/ACCME 2006 ACCREDITATION STATEMENT: The Wayne State University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Wayne State University School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 2.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
