3rd Annual Alumni Association CME Symposium, "Clinical Psychiatry Update for Practicing Clinicians"

The 3rd Annual Alumni Association CME Symposium, "Clinical Psychiatry Update for Practicing Clinicians" will take place on Friday, April 18, 2008, from 2pm to 7pm at the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, 259 Mack Ave., Detroit, MI 48201. The Symposium is sponsored by the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences, Wayne State University School of Medicine. This program will cover the latest developments in schizophrenia research and developments in various areas of clinical practice. These include the Pharmacoeconomics of Everyday Life, the Basics of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and New Developments in the Treatment of Sexual Dysfunction. In addition, the Chairman of the Department, Dr. Manuel Tancer, will discuss the relationship of the Department to the community, and the services the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences provides to the Southeast Michigan community at large. The program will be offering 3.75 CME credit hours. Admission and CME credits are free to members of the WSU DPBN Alumni Association; $20 CME fee for all other attendees.
