"Metro Detroit has top-quality art blooming in its own backyard, yet few of us know where to find it or who creates it. Now 82 arts venues join forces to produce Art Detroit Now — a gigantic gallery crawl spanning 18 cities. The event, expected to draw 100,000 visitors, is part of a grassroots movement to promote metro Detroit's art scene. A free event guide will be available at all participating venues. Organizers hope gallery hoppers hang on to it for future art outings."
