The creators of the highly acclaimed play The Laramie Project, will premiere a groundbreaking epilogue to one of the most performed plays in America, entitled THE LARAMIE PROJECT: 10 YEARS LATER. Written by Tectonic Theater Project members Moisés Kaufman, Leigh Fondakowski, Greg Pierotti, Andy Paris, and Stephen Belber, the play will premiere simultaneously in over 100 theatres in the United States and globally on October 12, 2009.  The Hilberry Theatre will be one of the venues.

7pm: Pre-show events and networking with local LGBT organizations including Between the Lines, The Michigan AIDS Coalition, Affirmations of Ferndale and the Ruth Ellis Center.

8pm: Staged Reading of THE LARAMIE PROJECT: TEN YEARS LATER featuring performances by Wayne State students, faculty, alumni and local professional actors.
