DESCRIPTION:Dr. Richard Chasdi will discuss various issues surrounding Terr
 orism and National Security.  Dr. Chasdi is an adjunct assistant professor
  at the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies and adjunct faculty in the M
 aster of Arts in Dispute Resolution (MADR) program at Wayne State Universi
 ty. He has been a news consultant on Middle East terrorism and Middle East
  political affairs for several television networks. He received a B.A. in 
 Politics from Brandeis University, an M.A. in Political Science from Bosto
 n College, and received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Purdue Univers
 ity. His first book, Serenade of Suffering: A Portrait of Middle East Terr
 orism, received Choice magazine's "Outstanding Academic Title" award. His 
 second book, Tapestry of Terror: A Portrait of Middle East Terrorism expan
 ds on work done previously with respect to methodology and scope.
