Kathleen K. Washington, formerly named Kyong Mi was born in Seoul, South Korea. She was raised by her mother and father along with four sisters. After marrying an American, she came to the U.S in 1987. Seven years later in 1994 she obtained citizenship and went to become self-employed with a business called Kay’s Helping Hands. She will talk about balancing your own on national culture with the American culture and experiences, and lessons learned. |
